About Us Twenty five years ago I began a hobby that turned into my passion. It started with a visit to the original Dove's Ice Cream parlor, located on Chicago's southwest side. It took a few moments, in that beautiful store, and I was hooked. I had a sample of their pistachio ice cream and realized, I had found one of the finest food products made in the United States. To simply put it: "A Piece of Heaven". Throughout my life, I have encountered many "pieces of heaven". It has become my mission to share these treasures with other people in my life. Whether it was my son, Anthony, trying Stadium Mustard, falling in love with it, and declaring it "liquid gold". Or my daughters, Alex and Amy, eating Albanese's gummi bears and without saying a word, looking into their eyes, and knowing they were partaking in something from heaven. It has always pleased me to share a food treasure with other people. By taking that pleasure a step further, I decided to open America's Market. In doing so, I am able to share these products with other individuals, outside of my circle of family and friends. America's Market is a tribute to all the U.S. companies, and their employees, that work hard to produce the finest food products, made in this country. It's a tribute to companies like Russell Sifers Candy Company, in which they turned a "mistake" into one delicious and fun candy bar. It's a tribute to Cheerwine, a North Carolina soda that has become known as the "Nectar of the Carolinas". A tribute to Kehr's Kandy Kitchen, a Milwaukee landmark, which produces some of the finest chocolates in the world - their "fairy food" is definitely a "piece of heaven". It's a tribute to fine companies like, Unique Pretzel, Tony Packo, Dorothy Lynch, Kathy's Kitchen, P. B Loco, King's Cupboard and Sanders Chocolate. This is just a small percentage of the products that are out there waiting to be discovered. It is America's Market's mission and passion to bring back as many of these "finds" and share them with our customers. I invite you to relax and open your soul to some of the finest creations you will ever taste.
